You’ll find some even bigger names in the producer credits, though, with a who’s who of writers and Hollywood heavyweights getting those, including Dan Brown himself, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Samie Kim Falvey, Anna Culp, John Weber and Frank Siracusa. Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol castĪshley Zukerman will play the younger Langdon, and he’ll be joined by Valorie Curry as Katherine Solomon, Sumalee Montano as Inoue Sato, Rick Gonzalez as Nunez, Eddie Izzard as Peter Solomon (interesting choice), and Beau Knapp as Mal’akh. Sounds very much like a Robert Langdon adventure to me! Interestingly, the book isn’t a prequel, but the show’s timeline has been changed to make it one, probably because Hanks wasn’t on board.

Based on Dan Brown’s international bestselling thriller “The Lost Symbol,” the series follows the early adventures of young Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, who must solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a chilling global conspiracy.
